The AGS is honored to present the legendary Roland Dyens in a special performance at the Mainstage Theater. Renowned as an extraordinary interpreter, arranger, composer and improviser, Dyens was recognized as one of the 100 Best Living Guitarists in All Styles by the prominent French magazine Guitarist. Classical Guitar magazine (UK) proclaimed him as “one of the few individuals worthy of the mantle of master” and “one of the guitar world’s guiding lights.” Book your tickets early!
Please note: the concert of Roland Dyens will take place at the Mainstage Theater, located in the Theater Arts Building just south of the Music Building. The box office and entrance are accessed from the campus quad. Please see map below.
 
Ticket pricing for the Roland Dyens concert only: $20 general, $10 AGS members and LAVC students.
Please note: the so-called Carmageddon II will take place over the weekend of September 29-30, during which the 405 Freeway will be closed through the Sepulveda Pass. To come to LAVC from anywhere south of the San Fernando Valley, there are numerous alternative routes: Sepulveda Blvd., Topanga Canyon, Beverly Glen, Roscomare through Bel Air, Coldwater Canyon, Laurel Canyon and the Hollywood Freeway all intersect with Ventura Blvd./Ventura Freeway. No worries, plenty of choices and all will be fine!
